Doug & his wife Cindy have not only helped hundreds of families with their estate planning and elder law needs over the years, but have personal experience as caregivers and advocates for their Loved Ones as well.
Cindy served as primary Family Caregiver for her declining Mom for several years. With the help of family and a few non-medical caregivers during the last few months, Cindy was able to honor her Mom’s wish to stay at home instead of receiving a facility level of care.
Doug’s Mom suffered a massive stroke after having heart valve replacement surgery. As a result of the stroke, Doug’s Mom required a Nursing Home level of care, so Doug served as her Advocate to ensure that she received the care that she needed.
